About US

This group began as a dialogue amongst former Woodward High classmates to explore opportunities, to nurture, and cultivate racial unity. The goal was to have a conversations that were non-confrontational, open to all suggestions, and mutually respectful. That way, the group was able to determine a path forward.

Our Mission

Humanity not insanity is a 501c (3) nonprofit corporation dedicated to the promotion of interracial dialogue with a focus on understanding and eliminating racism and fear and encouraging purposeful social integration. Formed by a group of Woodward High School (Cincinnati, Oh) 1978 classmates after the George Floyd Tragedy, bringing classmates and select friends together, to discuss and relate to the resulting racial tension. The result of these discussions and the discovery of the similarity of the things important to us were incredibly powerful. Humanity not Insanity would like to share the insight, knowledge and understanding between races gained through these discussions, and help interested organizations and individuals form similar groups, developing a network of discussion groups using Humanity not Insanity as a resource to identify opportunities to encourage togetherness, eliminate fear, and identify instances of systemic racism.
